The book is hardback with Charles Dickens face embossed on the front and gold gilding in the spine with an ornate frame around d the title.
The spine is  solid with all pages in tact. The book is almost 100 years old and so shows some sign of age, such as tanned pages and a few dark marks on the edges of the pages. Still in perfectly readable condition.
