A handsome pair of antique brass ejector candlesticks, dating from the late 19th century Victorian period. Beautifully proportioned and well made, they feature elegant turned baluster stems set on large domed bases, giving them an impressive presence and excellent stability.

Crafted from solid cast brass, they are weighty and well-balanced, with subtle lathe marks visible to the bases — a hallmark of genuine 19th-century English foundry work. Each retains its original ejector mechanism, now seized with age. Traces of cork remain inside the sockets, likely from their original use as candle grips or cushioning within the ejector system — a common feature in authentic Victorian examples.

Their warm golden tone and softly aged patina highlight their history and craftsmanship, making them perfect for display on a mantel, dining table or within a period interior.
