Very interesting and stunningly made pair of Chinese brass candlesticks. The symbols that make the stem of the candlestick mean "happiness".
The stem is secured with two solid bolts at the base, where there is a stamped marking stating "Made on Honk Kong".
They are in very good vintage condition and are completely stable. A candle will sit securely in the top. However due to the age of these candlesticks, which I approximate to have been made circa 1930, there is some signs of wear and patination. However this just further clarifies that these candlesticks are old and adds further I terest and character.
