A lovely teacup with a leafy bouquet of roses. What makes this teacup unusual is that the design is actually a Royal Stafford design as part of their "Elegance" collection, however this particular teacup had a Duchess stamp on it.

I think what has happened is that many bone china makers were based in Longton, Staffordshire at this time and somehow whether on purpose or not, the Duchess stamp has actually been added to a Royal Stafford make.

Circa 1935

In very good condition with no chips or cracks, just a little bit of gilding rubbed away from the top of the handle.

Perfect for a collector, especially because of the stamp, but also as a pretty addition to your afternoon tea!
