A well crafted and lovely storage jar; part of the "Cumbria" range by Hornsea, circa 1970s.
The lid still secure tightly to the jar and is made of tough clay, which is dishwasher, freezer and microwave safe.
It has a glazed finish with a very soft sheen. There is an incision around the bottom of the jar, which shows the natural clay underneath.
I'm very good condition, with no signs of chips or cracks.
