A very large and pretty serving plate. Perfect for entertaining guests!
The platter is rather old and interestingly has two makers marks on the back. I believe the "Frank Bentall" mark has been added recently and is not the original mark.
The original mark is quite difficult to read as much of it has rubbed off. However based on the fact this piece is made of earthenware and has the "England" stamp on the original mark, it is likely this was made somewhere between 1885 - 1929.
Overall the platter is in great vintage tage condition. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. There is some cosmetic wear, as to be expected as this piece is approximately 100 years old.
