A beautifully detailed Victorian-era tureen base by Bridgwood & Son in the Elgin pattern, dating to the late 19th century. Although the original lid is missing, the piece remains highly decorative with its deep bowl form, twin handles, and scrolling green and gold design. The glaze has developed a fine antique crazing typical of its age, and it's free from chips or cracks.
Measuring approximately 12cm in length, 10cm in width, and 7cm in height, this versatile piece makes a stunning table centrepiece or could be repurposed as a unique vintage planter or decorative bowl in a period-style interior.
