A beautifully detailed vintage brass ewer with an ornate curved spout, embossed Middle Eastern style motifs and a striking key-shaped feature on the side. It has real presence and weight, making it a lovely sculptural piece for styling on a console, shelf or mantel.

I’ve shown it here used as a vase, which works beautifully thanks to the tall neck and balanced form. The base carries an embossed floral detail and an original maker’s shield mark beneath the natural verdigris.
