This is a vintage copper and brass jug-shaped pitcher with a lovely rounded body, flared rim and curved brass handle. The copper has developed a warm, aged patina, complemented by a brass band around the centre and a solid brass foot. It shows handmade qualities, including subtle solder marks on the base, which add to its rustic character.
Despite its decorative look, it holds water well, so it can be used for fresh flowers as well as dry stems or grasses. It also displays beautifully as a standalone mixed-metal accent in rustic or cottage-style interiors.
