A characterful pair of vintage Indian brass decorative slipper shoes, made from solid brass and shaped in the form of traditional Indian jutti-style footwear. These miniature brass shoes have been pressed and engraved, with detailed floral and radiating motifs across the pointed toes.
The brass has developed a warm, aged patina over time, with surface wear, fine scratches and tonal variation that sit comfortably with age and reinforce their authenticity as vintage Indian brass decor. The backs are plain and simply finished. It is likely these were traditionally used as ashtrays or small matxh holders, but look perfectly decprative on their own.
They make an unusual addition to a boho, eclectic or globally inspired interior and display well on shelving, in cabinets or as part of a curated brass collection.
