This is a vintage Indian brass dish with three divided sections and detailed hand engraving across the surface. It has a warm patina that highlights the floral design, with a small engraved leaf-shaped tab at the top. The base is marked India in the traditional dotted style used on earlier mid-century brassware.
It measures 17cm x 14.5cm x 2cm and weighs 278g. Each section has fine engraved detailing, and the dish has the expected age-related wear consistent with older Indian brass pieces.
This piece works beautifully as a decorative trinket dish, jewellery holder, key bowl or display item, and brings a lovely touch of vintage brass to a shelf, sideboard or dressing table. Not recommended for food use due to its age.
