A vintage mid-century canvas satchel, originally intended for practical everyday use and commonly used to store cameras, photographic accessories and other small personal items.
Made from heavy woven canvas with a canvas-lined interior, this piece has a simple, functional design typical of utilitarian bags from the 1950s–1960s. It features a flap front with press-stud closure and an adjustable webbing shoulder strap with metal hardware.
The structure remains solid, including the base and sides, and the strap is secure and intact. Internally, it is fairly clean overall, with some light marks and signs of age. Externally, there is cosmetic wear and surface marking, which is entirely expected for a piece of this age and consistent with genuine use.
Now best suited as a display or styling piece, this satchel works particularly well alongside vintage cameras, studio props, books or interiors with an industrial or mid-century feel. Not intended for modern camera protection.
