A lovely vintage porcelain trinket box with an oval shape, floral decoration and a gold-tone hinged clasp. The lid features a painted flower design with a scalloped green and gold border, matching the pattern around the base. The gold-tone mount has an ornate raised design and the hinge closes securely.
Marked on the underside with the MG crest, this is a late 20th century decorative piece from MG, known for their quality porcelain trinket boxes.
The box is in very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. The glaze is clean and bright, and the interior is also in good order.
