Vintage black lustre tankard by Prinknash Abbey Pottery.
Prinknash Abbey Pottery was established in 1942 until 1997. Benedictine Monks founded Prinknash Pottery, in order to raise money for their community.  So a very interesting history and as they are no longer made, quite collectable too!
This particular piece is in very good vintage condition, with no chips or cracks. There are so signs of cosmetic wear, which is to be expected of a vintage item.
